Creating New Ringtones for iPhone and iPad

A very bad thing about iOS is that it is not possible to use music from our library as a ringtone. As the options are few, it is not uncommon for an iPhone to ring and you end up thinking it is yours because it has the same ringtone. Well, how can we reverse this? There are hundreds of apps in the App Store to create new ringtones for iPhone or iPad. Today, I will talk about one in particular, the Ringtone Designer. You can check out more about it below!

Designer Ringtone

Ringtone Designer helps you create custom ringtones from your iTunes library. Just select the song you want to use as the ringtone and the part that will be used. The process is not as simple as it may seem so I will split it into two steps.

How it works

First, you need to download the free app from AppStore.

Step 1: Once you have downloaded and installed the app, open it and tap the music note to choose the song to use. Once selected it needs to be edited and saved. To edit it, use the two center bars to select the beginning and end of the ringtone *. To see how it went, you must tap the play button.

This is an example of what your ringtone will look like. If you are satisfied, tap the floppy disk to save. If not, you can reissue it or choose another part of the song (tap the music note on the upper right). Do not forget to touch the floppy disk and save.

Step 2: With the ringtone saved, you will now need to go to the computer (Mac or Pc). Follow the steps:
