Google's Allo messaging app was finally launched for Android and iOS users, bringing a number of interesting and different features from other similar apps. With this, it is natural to be curious to know the app in depth and know what it can really offer. Of course, it can always be a little confusing to start using a brand new app, but you can just check out our guide with all the tips on how to use Allo easily!

Starting to use Allo

First of all, you will have to download the app on your smartphone, either Android or iPhone. You can make the Android app through this link and the iOS app at this link.

With the installation completed, open the app and allow it to access smartphone features to get started.

Then put your phone number on the next screen. You will receive an SMS with a verification code to let the app confirm that this is really your number.

With that done, you can customize your profile with your name and photo if you want, but you can change that later as well.

Now you can start using Allo normally. You'll see how many contacts are in the app too, and you'll already have your Google assistant at your disposal for anything you need.

Clicking on the message icon at the bottom of the screen will open some options, such as starting an anonymous conversation, creating a group and taking a general look at your contacts.

If you open the chat window with the Google Assistant, you will see that he has sent you some messages in English, as for now it has only been programmed in this language.

If you have an English language background, you can talk to him and ask him to do some things like searching for videos, telling you which restaurants are near you, setting an alarm clock, etc.

According to Google, it is expected that the assistant will still be programmed in other languages, including Portuguese, soon.
