How to change Instagram password on Android and iPhone

Change Instagram Password

You can change your Instagram password at any time, which is a good idea if you use the same password on other services or if you have been using it for a long time without any change.

To get started, open the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android and click the last icon on the right, as highlighted in the image below.

Then click on the three vertical dots at the top right of the screen, which will take us to the app settings.

You'll see some of your main account settings, including the "Change Password" option. Click on it to proceed.

Now. You must enter your current password and your new password below. If you do not remember the current password, you can click on the “Forgot Password? Reset it using Facebook ”at the bottom of the screen.

With all set and new password chosen, just click the blue confirmation icon at the top right of the screen.

Okay, your password will change automatically and you will be able to sign in with it the next time. As we mentioned, you can repeat this process again if you need to.
