How to change Snapchat password on Android and iPhone

Like so many other social networks, Snapchat is also capable of storing a lot of your users' personal information, whether it's data or private photos. Therefore, it is very important that you do your best to keep your account as secure as possible, including a very strong and hard-to-find password. Of course, it's entirely possible that you didn't think of that when you first created your account, but you can change it quickly and easily. How to change Snapchat password

In general, you can change your Snapchat password at any time, but it is advisable to do so every few months to keep your account secure. To get started, open the app on your smartphone and click the gear icon at the top right of the screen.

Then drag the screen down to search and find the "Password" option. Click on it to proceed.

Before you can change the password, you must enter your current password. This is a way to prevent others from doing this process without your permission.

You will now be taken to the new password creation screen. Try creating a password with uppercase, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

With that done, click "Save" to submit your new password to the app.

You will receive confirmation that your password has been changed and you can only use it from now on, at least until you change it again.

Snapchat should also send you an email notifying you of the change. This is a very important notification as it can alert you if someone else tries to change your password at some point.
