How to create a Windows 10 account without email from Microsoft

In the past, it only took a username and password to create your private account on a Windows computer, but in recent versions, the system started asking for a Microsoft email (Hotmail or Outlook) to be included at login time. Since the process is not so clear, this may seem like a mandatory step, but it is totally feasible to sign up without the email. To know how to do this, just check out our tips below!

Account without email in Windows 10

These steps can also be done on first use of Windows 10, as the options we will show also appear there, but in this tutorial we will show the necessary steps with the system already installed and configured.

To get started, open the Start menu and click the gear symbol to open your computer settings.

In this new screen, click on the "Accounts" option.

Then you should choose the option “Family and other people”.

Here you can click the "Add a family member" or "Add another person to this PC" button. It just depends on who this account will be for.

This will make a new window open. There you will see that Windows will ask for the person's email, but just click "I don't have this person's sign-in information."

Then click on “Add a user without a Microsoft account” so you don't have to create a new email for the user.

Then you will finally be able to create the username and password for the new account. When done, click "Next."

There, the account will be created automatically and can be used at any time. Very simple, isn't it ?! Best of all, you can check out these tips in our video below:
