How to recover deleted emails in Gmail

Among so many emails we receive every day, it's easy to end up losing or deleting something important by accident. Usually, everything goes to the trash folder and stays there for about 30 days, which is usually enough to redeem any message. The big problem is when this period passes and it seems almost impossible to reverse the situation. Fortunately, there are solutions for those who use Gmail, as you can see in our tips on how to retrieve emails below!

How to retrieve emails in Gmail

Unfortunately, there is no native way in Gmail that allows you to manually retrieve your emails, but you can go to Google for help. If so, you can send a message asking them to redeem your deleted messages.

To get started, sign in to your Gmail account right in your browser. Then visit the Google help page via this link.

First, confirm that the account displayed is your Gmail account, that is, the account in which you need to recover deleted emails.

Then enter the exact date or closest to the period when you realized the messages were no longer accessible.

Finally, describe your problem in the field below. You'll have about 8, 000 characters for this, so you can enjoy it a lot.

When you are done, check all the information and if everything is correct, just click the "Submit" button. Your message will be sent directly to Google Support, who should review the issue and respond within a few days.

If the message has been deleted long ago (such as over a year or two ago), it will be more difficult to retrieve. Overall, it's simpler to recover deleted emails a few months ago, so you might still get lucky with that.
