How to remove Touchwiz from a Samsung smartphone

Samsung smartphones are usually of excellent quality, but if there has been something that has annoyed its users for years is the fact that Android installed on the handsets is so modified. This is something every business has to do to avoid paying Google more money due to operating system licenses. The big problem is that the Samsung modification known as Touchwiz is far from ideal, which has caused a lot of slowdowns and crashes in the past. Fortunately, there are some relatively simple ways to get rid of Touchwiz, as you can see below!

1. Disable Touchwiz Apps

For starters, you can do something simpler and simply disable Touchwiz applications. To do this, just go to your settings and click on the "Applications" option.

When you're there, look for all of Samsung's special apps (virtually everyone has the company name in the title), click each one, and turn off any options present. This includes notifications, caching, additional data, etc. Of course, this does not remove Touchwiz, but at least get rid of apps that are useless and still memory consuming.

2. Install a launcher

Another solution is to install a launcher for your smartphone. This way, the entire look of the smartphone and even the way apps are displayed will change and you won't have to deal with Touchwiz.

There are a number of free, great quality launchers for Android smartphones, as you can see on our suggestion list yourself via this link.

3. Root the device

Finally, there is also a more drastic way to get rid of Touchwiz on your Samsung smartphone. If you don't want to follow our tips above, you can still root the device and modify whatever you want freely.

We just recommend that you think about it, since root is not the simplest process in the world. Also do a lot of research, as the process can be quite different for each specific smartphone model. Currently, this is the only way to permanently remove Touchwiz.
