Uploading Private Videos on Musical.ly
As you may already know very well, Musical.ly is primarily for making and sharing music videos with other users of the app. Of course, that doesn't mean you can't make a video you just want to share with a few people and close friends.
In fact, this is extremely simple to do since the app itself offers a specific option for this action.
To get started, open the app already logged in to your Musical.ly account and click the "+" symbol at the bottom center of the screen, as highlighted below.
Then choose how you prefer to record or edit your video, either with a specific song, library footage, or something freshly created.
With the video ready, you will have some options on how to share this video. Instead of sharing on Musical.ly for all to see, choose the "Save as Private" option.
The video itself will be saved to phone memory in an application-related folder. As a result, you will see a warning mentioning that videos saved like this will be deleted if Musical.ly is uninstalled.
You will then be given the option to upload or share the video in a variety of ways, both via email and the different social networks installed on your smartphone.
Just choose the way you want to share your video and send it especially to the friends you select. Pretty simple, isn't it? Best of all, you can do this process with any video created with the app.
