Putting the fingerprint on Android

First of all, it's always worth remembering that this can only be done on devices that actually have a fingerprint sensor on Android. We say this because there are many applications that promise to do the same thing, but it's good not to trust too much, as the method is completely different and unreliable.

Either way, to start setting up your fingerprint on Android, you must go into your settings.

Look for the "Security" tab and click it.

Among the options, you'll see the model-specific fingerprint feature of your smartphone. In the case of Nexus line devices, like the one used in this tutorial, we have Nexus Imprint. Click on it to continue.

It is very likely that you will need to enter some code already established to gain access to these options.

You will see information about possible fingerprints already registered and you will be able to configure more if applicable. Click on "Add Fingerprint" to continue setup.

Tap your finger several times and calmly on the Android fingerprint sensor as instructed on the screen.

Do this until setup is complete and you have two options: add one more fingerprint or complete the process for now.

You can always return to this menu if you need to add more prints or if you want to delete any. In this case, it is to click on the fingerprint and click on "Delete".

The good thing is that you can include fingerprinting from trusted friends and family, but always be careful as they will have full access to your smartphone.
