iPhone SE vs iPhone 6S: Which one is worth buying?

That alone would make us believe that the iPhone 6S wins in terms of battery, but the truth is it has already been bought that the battery life of the iPhone SE is much better. Although both offer the same talk time (approximately 14 hours), iPhone SE allows the user to surf the internet for 13 hours versus 10 hours on the iPhone 6S. If you want a very reliable battery charge for everyday use, the small iPhone is the best option.

4. Performance

Fortunately, when it comes to performance, you'll get the same performance on both devices. This is possible thanks to the A9 chip processor and 2 GB of RAM, which are present in both handsets.

In fact, iPhone SE can be expected to be even more efficient because it has a smaller, lower-resolution screen, which requires far less processing power.

5. Display

Like design, the display is another very noticeable difference between Apple's two smartphones. While the iPhone 6S can be purchased with a screen of just 4 inches and a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels, the iPhone 6S has a 4.7 inch display with a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels.

As you can see, iPhone SE's resolution is much lower, but it doesn't matter that much in the end result. Considering the screen size and resolution, we ended up with exactly the same pixel density per inch on both devices: 326 dpi. 6. 3D Touch

Despite what was expected, iPhone SE will not bring the 3D Touch feature that Apple introduced in the iPhone 6S last year. Since this function is not yet as important or widespread in use, it may not be missed by consumers, but it is still disappointing when we see the other similarities of the two smartphones.

It is likely that Apple has excluded 3D Touch to make iPhone SE cheaper and more accessible to the public it wants. If you make a point of having all the latest Apple features on your device, it's best to stick with the iPhone 6S yourself.

7. Dimensions

Starting from a technical question, it is worth mentioning the exact dimensions of each device. While the new iPhone SE is 123.8 mm high, 58.6 mm wide and 7.6 mm thick, the iPhone 6S is larger and thinner at 138.3 mm high, 67.1 mm wide. and only 7.1 mm thick.

In terms of weight, the iPhone SE is lighter and has only 113 grams against the 143 grams of iPhone 6S. In this regard, there is no better model than the other and it really depends on what you prefer in everyday use.

8. Storage

As we are already used to, the iPhone 6S has different storage options, offering 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB of internal memory space. Slightly more limited, iPhone SE has 16GB and 64GB versions, which can be disappointing for those who need plenty of storage.

Still, the most annoying is the lack of the 32 GB middle ground that Apple used to offer, which is no longer available on any current iPhone. Given how large files and applications are nowadays, it's hard to imagine that 16 GB is enough to use your smartphone normally.

9. iOS

Because it was announced on the same day as the official release of iOS 9.3, iPhone SE will come with this version of the factory direct operating system. Of course, iOS 9.3 is also available for iPhone 6S, but you must update it manually to use it.

Not that this is a problem, as both devices should receive the same iOS updates in the future, considering they have the same processor.

10. Price

Finally, we have the important issue of price, which is still one of the most decisive when buying a new smartphone. In this case, the most basic (6 GB) iPhone 6S can be purchased for $ 649, while the same iPhone SE model can be purchased for "just" $ 399.

Here in Brazil, you can find the iPhone 6S in the average of 3, 500 reais, which leads us to believe that the SE may end up being a much more viable option for those who always wanted an Apple smartphone here.
