Learn the 12 steps to posting snaps on Instagram Stories

Like Instagram Stories but still find it too basic to set Snapchat aside? There is a solution that still requires you to use both social networks, but will allow you to post snaps on Instagram Stories. To do this, keep reading below for the 12 steps to posting snaps - and their plethora of lenses and stickers - on Instagram Stories!

1. Create your snap

Ok, the first step of our tutorial for posting snaps on Instagram Stories is impossible to be simpler. Snap normally on Snapchat;

2. Download your internal storage snap

Tap the download button located in the bottom left corner of the screen to save your snap to the internal storage of your smartphone or tablet. You can also press and hold the same button to direct it to the camera roll, allowing you to skip steps 3-7. If you don't want to take this shortcut, just continue.

3. Get off your snap

Exit the snap you took by clicking the "x" in the upper left corner of the screen.

4. Go to Memories

Tap the "Memories" button on your Snapchat, located at the bottom, below the "shutter".

5. Find the snap taken

After entering “Memories”, tap the snaps tab and choose the one you saved in step 2 of this tutorial to post snaps to Instagram Stories.

6. Find the editing interface

In snap, simply swipe up to enter the Snapchat editing system;

7. Export your smartphone snap

Click the hamburger button located at the top left of the screen, then click Export Snap and Save Image / Video.

8. Go to Instagram

9. Open Instagram Stories

Access Instagram Stories by swiping right if it's on the Home tab. You can also click the "+" button in the upper left corner of the same tab.

10. Find published photos and videos

To check the images and videos saved on your smartphone in the last 24 hours and find the snap you just saved, swipe down on the Instagram Stories screen.

11. Find and select the snap you exported.

12. Post the snap

Before publishing, you can add text, drawings, and filters from Instagram itself. To end the process of posting snaps to Instagram Stories, tap the save button at the bottom of the screen.
