The main differences between Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite
The Galaxy A9 Star was recently unveiled and is expected to reach the Chinese market before the rest of the world, but it is already catching the attention of Samung consumers. 1. Screen
The Galaxy A9 Star has a 6.28 inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2220 pixel resolution. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A9 Star Lite has a 6 inch Super AMOLED display and the same resolution as 1080 x 2220 pixels.
Like Samsung's other smartphones, these two handsets have virtually no edges on the front.
2. Specifications
The Galaxy A9 Star is 162.4 mm high, 77 mm wide, 7.55 mm thick and weighs only 188 grams. The Galaxy A9 Star Lite is 160 mm high, 75.7 mm wide, 7.9 mm thick and weighs 191 grams.
Overall, the Galaxy A9 Star Lite is slightly smaller, but is still chubby and slightly heavier than the normal version.
3. Battery
Both versions of the Galaxy A9 Star have good batteries and are not so different from each other. In the normal version we have a 3, 700 mAh battery, while the Lite version has a great 3, 500 mAh battery.
4. Camera
The cameras of the two handsets are quite different, which can also cause the biggest price difference between the two when they are launched. At the rear, the Galaxy A9 Star has two cameras: a 24 megapixel main and a 16 megapixel secondary. Already in the front, there is an amazing 24 megapixel camera.
The Galaxy A9 Star Lite has a single 16 megapixel camera at the rear, but at least it has the same 24 megapixel camera at the front.
5. Processor
The Galaxy A9 Star features a Snapdragon 660 Octa-Core chip, an Adreno 512 GPU and 4 GB of RAM. Already the Galaxy A9 Star Lite has a weaker processor: a Snapdragon 450, an Adreno 506 GPU and 4 GB of RAM.
The good news is that both will probably perform well on multiple tasks because they have the same amount of RAM.
7. Price
Currently, Samsung has not revealed the official price of the Galaxy A9 Star or Galaxy A9 Star Lite, but they are expected to be quite different from each other.
There are some indications that the Galaxy A9 Star costs up to $ 550 while the Lite is around $ 450. Of course, once Samung presents the official prices, we will update this information.
