Top 5 rumors about the new Moto X

For some time now, Lenovo had not shown signs of launching a new version of Moto X, especially after the arrival of Moto Z last year. So there was some surprise when several leaks pointed to the announcement of what would be the Moto X4, a new intermediate smartphone that would be released later this year. Not much information is available yet, but certain images from a recent Lenovo event show the first details of the device. Check out more below!

1. Design

Images shown at the event show that the device would look very similar to the Moto G5 in design, with an aluminum body at the rear and thinner edges at the front.

In addition, there was mention of such a "3D glass", something not explained yet and that should only make more sense in the official announcement of the smartphone.

2. Display

Slightly smaller than other recently launched smartphones, the new Moto X is expected to feature a 5.2-inch Full HD resolution display. Considering the intention is to launch the device as an intermediary, these specifications seem pretty decent and enough for any user.

3. Performance

In terms of performance, there is more than one rumor about the possible components of the smartphone. First, it was said that the device would come with a Snapdragon 625 processor and 3 GB of RAM, but now there is information that confirms the Snapdragon 630 processor and no less than 4 GB of RAM.

Whatever it is, you can see that the device will be very powerful and can compete smoothly with the latest Android smartphones.

4. Battery

This is where we get real good news, as it looks as though Moto X will feature a 3, 800 mAh battery.

Considering that devices like the Galaxy S8 and LG G6 have only 3, 000 and 3, 300 mAh respectively, we have nothing to complain about with Moto X.

5. Storage

Another factor that has caused confusion is the storage of the device. Some say there will be a single 32 GB version of internal space, while others say it will be a 64 GB storage model (just like the Galaxy S8).

Either way, the device should come with a micro SD card slot and internal storage will only matter to make Moto X cheaper or more expensive.
