7 Tricks for Creating Stories on Instagram

Creating Instagram Stories is one of the best ways to increase interactions on your profile.

No wonder almost all social networks are adopting the format. In addition, it is also quite easy to repost other Stories in your profile when you are unimaginative. Apps like FaceApp can be used in conjunction with interactive stickers, such as questions.

Despite all this, there are times when authenticity fails and we have no idea what to publish. Especially when the Stories don't load and we waste time trying to fix it. Who never gave up posting precisely because this kind of problem was happening.

That's why we decided to write this article. If you are not out of ideas for creating Stories on Instagram, just follow the tips below. Here we will help rekindle your creativity and get you back on track for producing content on Insta.

Check it out below!

1. Use Stories Templates

There are a number of designer tools that make it easy to create social media posts that come with ready-made templates and the ideal image size for Stories. These templates are very practical, just change the text to fit your content.

The best known site for creating images is Canva. It fits both social media posts and can even help you make print invitations, such is its variety of templates.

It comes with free and paid templates, and to start creating yours, just pick one of the Instagram Stories templates. Then simply customize the template you choose to fit your profile posts.

2. Select some favorite models

In the first few posts you will have some difficulty finding the right model to work with. Over time, you will identify which ones are the best. Favorite them!

By favoring some templates, you save search time while creating a visual identity for your brand posts. That is, the more you use a template, the faster your followers will know they are seeing content from you.

So save the templates you use most in your app to create Instagram Stories to access them more easily.

3. Create a consistent font for texts.

Tools like Canva have their own set of free fonts. As you searched for the best models, try also to try the different sources available on the site. If you already have a source from you, you can submit them to these services.

Alternatively, access websites with Instagram sources. These pages give you access to other sources that may not be on Canva or other similar sites.

If you find a good font by accident while browsing the internet, you can use this method to capture fonts on Android or iPhone to identify your name and download it. Then simply upload it to your favorite design tool and upload it to your post templates.

4. Choose a consistent color palette

The third element that can help shape the visual identity of your content is color. It may seem like little, but using a specific color palette in your publications also helps you easily identify your brand.

Fortunately, this is easy to look for in Canva itself or similar applications. In the Backgrounds area, you can find your favorite colors and then use them consistently in publications. Also, most elements in a post can have their color changed.

Another option is to learn how to use a Google Chrome extension that lets you capture colors. Through it, you can identify colors or combinations that you saw on the internet and extract their identification by placing them in other tools with that identity.

5. Use free image and photo sites

Tired of repeating models? How about varying slightly using free and royalty free images and photos?

There is no shortage of image site options that you can use on social networks, including for creating Stories on Instagram. Tools like Canva also have integration with these sites, allowing you to search for images without having to switch windows.

These images can be combined with your text and your logo to compose a post. Because they are also free to use commercially, you can put them in your posts without worrying about misuse complaints.

6. Use GIFs

The notorious short animations are some of the best things you can put in Stories. You can place them directly through the stickers area when editing a story.

If you prefer to create Stories on Instagram from your computer, some image platforms also integrate with apps to create GIFs, such as Giphy. That is, just access the tool, find Giphy and start searching for GIFs for your publications.
