Installing Android O

First of all, it is very important to note that not all smartphones can install Android O as only a few devices have been selected for beta testing.

For now, only Nexus and Pixel devices (both from Google itself) are able to install the new system. To get started, you should visit the special Android Beta program site by clicking this link.

You will need to sign in with your Google account so that the site can know which Android phone you have. At the bottom of the site, the device will be properly identified and there will be a message saying if it is selected for the program or not. If it is, click the "Enroll device" button.

This will open a small window explaining more about the beta version of Android O and the issues you may encounter while using it. If you agree, click on the box next to it and click the "Join Beta" button.

The site will send the update to your smartphone and show some instructions on how to do the process. Click "OK" to continue.

Either way, Android O will arrive in a few minutes on your device and you'll see a notification to download and install it.

Pretty simple, isn't it? We only recommend that you think carefully before doing this, as to reverse the process you need to erase all data from your phone.
