It's common for Instagram users to post multiple Stories every day, but that doesn't mean these people want to have their posts shared with strangers. As we mentioned, this new feature is available on Android smartphones and iPhones. For this tutorial, we will use the Android app, so you may see some different details in the iPhone version interface.

To get started, open the Instagram app on your smartphone. Then click the profile icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

In the section of your profile, click on the three vertical dots at the top right. On the iPhone, this symbol must be a gear.

Then scroll down the screen until you see the "Privacy" part and click "Sharing Stories Again."

Now just click the blue button next to the "Allow others to share again" option to disable it.

When it is off, the button will be gray as in the image below.

By doing so, no one will be able to share your posts on Instagram Stories. Of course you can reverse this by simply going back to this screen and pushing the button again.
