How to save a PDF PowerPoint on Android

In the past, it was common to rely solely on computers to edit files and presentations, especially those created with the Microsoft Office suite. Fortunately, there are great applications of these same tools for Android, which makes it much easier for us to create and share these types of files. For still-used PowerPoint files, you can even save them to PDF for easy sharing and secure creation. To know how to do it, just check out our tutorial below!

Converting PowerPoint to PDF

Well, the first thing you have to do is obviously have the PowerPoint application on your Android smartphone. You can download Office Mobile (which also has Excel and Word) at this link, but as it does not yet support Android Marshmallow, you may only need to download the PowerPoint app at this link.

Once you've done that, open the app and you'll have the option to select an existing presentation (stored on your device or a cloud service) or create a new one.

Open the PowerPoint presentation you want and when you are ready to convert to PDF, click the button on the upper left side of the screen, as shown in the image below:

Select the "Share" option to proceed.

In the new window that appears, you will have the option to choose in which format the file will be saved. Just choose “PDF” to continue.

Now the application will ask permission to actually convert the PowerPoint file to PDF, so just click "Allow".

Now, just wait for the file conversion process, which may take a while for your PowerPoint presentation to be too heavy or full of content.

When the process is over, you will be given several file sharing options, whether it's on social networks, cloud storage services or even your email.

Choose your preferred method and soon you will have your presentation entirely in PDF. Very simple isn't it ?! Best of all, this procedure can be done with any PowerPoint file and without you depending on your computer.
